During your tenure as a Senior Associate in Value Creation Services, IT Due Diligence, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Evaluate the Information Technology (IT) related opportunities and risks in relation to a potential merger, acquisition or divestiture.
  • Identify potential remedial actions to address, and communicate due diligence key findings
  • Assess IT-related performance of companies and develop potential options to enhance performance or reduce operating costs
  • Assess the IT strategy and alignment with the firm’s business strategy
  • Comment on IT vendor contracts and degree of reliance on key support services
  • Support the project team in the preparation of reports and deliverables
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and finance

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM field with a Master’s in management or MBA
  • Experience in IT systems applications, architecture, infrastructure, and good understanding of common IT processes
  • Prior exposure to the M&A lifecycle and due diligence preferred
  • Core skills in written and verbal communication, report writing, facilitation and presentation to senior executives.
  • Highly collaborative, teaming across client departments and functions
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Awareness of industry trends and insights are also valuable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic for the purposes of clearly communicating to clients, stakeholders and teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and (fluency in Arabic is desirable) for the purposes of clearly communicating to clients, stakeholders and teams.
  • Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy particularly with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
