During your tenure as - Treasury Lead, you will lead the treasury function by directing all treasury activities of the group including effective cash and liquidity management, managing banking relationships, funding business operations and monitoring/reporting on treasury KPIs. You will also be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive, manage and improve cash flow forecasting.
- Oversee daily cash management activities, invest surplus cash, meet funding requirements to drive cash flow forecasting within the group.
- Monitor cash flow positions and related borrowing needs to ensure financial stability and maintain sufficient funds to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
- Develop payments strategy to achieve digitalization.
- Achieve optimization and streamline of processes through internet banking and modules.
- Develop and enhance relationship with the banks while ensuring timely management of forex, interest cost & issuance.
- Oversee bank related operations such as timely bank reconciliation, managing deposit verification, communication, or follow-ups regarding payment release, maintaining bank statements, resolving bank related queries, etc.
- Create and generate required treasury reports on regular and ad-hoc basis. This will include analysis of the firm’s financial charges, debt, treasury risk exposure, cash position.
- Regular testing and ensuring compliance with KPIs.
- Negotiate facilities and monitor compliance with all financial covenants.
- Formulate and implement plans that are in line with business objectives.
- Oversee developing a risk management strategy in line with the approved policy to address and mitigate the possible financial risk.
- Implement and monitor internal controls in all banking & treasury processes.
- Regularly review and enhance processes where needed to improve efficiency, effectiveness and controls
Qualifications:
- Minimum 12+ years of experience within a corporate treasury department of an international business
- Expertise in forecasting, cash management across multiple countries and banking relationships, FX, and interest rate optimization, managing and optimizing utilization of banking facilities,
- Experience in managing banking relationship, including assisting senior management teams with banking negotiations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, including excellent written and verbal capabilities. Excellent presentation skills considered as a plus.
- Ability to communicate professionally with directors, partners, and high-level executives.
- Excellent organizational, communication and time-management skills
- Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Management)
- Fluency in English (reading, speaking, and writing). Preference will be given to bilingual candidates (Arabic/English)
