Tax | Global Employer Services | Associate (client facing)

During your tenure as a Manager in Corporate Tax, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of the Middle East immigration landscape. Ability to research and add legislative/ministerial references to support immigration advice. Produces work as directed by seniors to a high standard and on time. Works across regions/clients while developing a regional specialization
  • Must be able to conduct research and use appropriate facts, analysis, and conclusions to draft technical advice, reports, memoranda and other deliverables relevant to immigration laws and regulations
  • Determines critical facts, issues and questions, and gathers the appropriate client data to support a business requirement document or obligation or process
  • Prepares detailed assessments, outlining key facts, different options available, processes and timelines as well as provide a recommendation on type of visa to apply for
  • Take the application process from initiation to conclusion whilst keeping all client stakeholders up to date on the progress of the application (consular and in-country process)
  • Have the ability to speak to client’s employees and manage all correspondence through all methods of communication, clearly articulating status updates or any challenges with the immigration process and fielding client questions
  • Understand the key capabilities required to deliver a high-quality service experience to the client
  • Manage workload and meet internal/external deadlines to deliver work requested. Providing final drafts with sufficient time for senior staff to review in detail before the required deadlines
  • Be able to explain the full suite of services provided by the immigration service line to potential new clients and colleagues from different service lines.
  • Deliver good quality first draft deliverables to senior team members
  • Liaise with government departments, embassies and third-party vendors
  • Demonstrates understanding of technology risk considerations when working with client data
  • Supports senior staff on business development when called on to do so. Passes any BD ideas up the chain through line manager. Take into account commercial considerations in an engagement

Qualifications:

  • Excellent research skills and strong written and verbal communications skills required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or other business related field would be advantageous
  • Strong academic credentials
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant immigration technical knowledge and experience
  • At least 1-2 years experience in a client facing role
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels  
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (Reading, Speaking and Writing). Preference will be given to Bilingual candidates (Arabic/English)
  • Impeccable attention to detail and ability to multi-task, whilst producing high-quality deliverables.
