The Quality, Risk, Security (QRS) Department is handling matters pertaining to Compliance; Regulatory; Anti-Money Laundering (AML); Ethics; Anti-Corruption; Independence and Risk Management for the entire Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus region. During your tenure as a Senior Manager - Legal Counsel, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
- Supporting the General Counsel (the Contentious Matters Leader) in the management of Contentious Matters portfolio.
- Acting as the first point of contact for queries and escalations from Contentious Matters team members.
- Overseeing the entire Deloitte Middle East Contentious Matters portfolio across 16 countries and approximately 20 jurisdictions.
- Issuing clear and detailed instructions to external counsel.
- Formulating case strategies, both procedural and substantive.
- Preparing reports and updates for the General Counsel.

Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Law or a related field from a reputable university.
- Qualified common law practitioner with a minimum of 7 years’ post-admission/qualification experience in dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration and other Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods. Civil law experience is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in demanding situations and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communicator, especially skilled in written English, with strong verbal abilities. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Competent in using digital tools and software.
