During your tenure as a Data privacy senior consultant, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas
- Conducting thorough current state and gap assessments of current data privacy practices.
- Leading workshops and review privacy governance framework.
- Identify gaps between existing practices and regulatory requirements.
- Define recommendations for remediation based on assessment findings.
- Tailor remediation roadmaps.
- Drafting Privacy Policies and Procedures:
- Collaborate with clients’ stakeholders to draft and validate privacy policies and procedures.
- Ensure procedures are aligned with applicable regulations and best practices.
- Delivering Training and Awareness:
- Reviewing Training & Awareness Material to align with privacy regulations.
- Leading workshops to socialize policies and procedure and conduct knowledge transfer meetings.
- Implementing mechanisms for reviews and updates to policies and procedures.
- Creating awareness materials and presentations to educate employees on their responsibilities regarding data privacy.
- Conducting Privacy Operation Activities leveraging knowledge in Privacy Technology platforms.
- Maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs) and ensure transparency in data handling practices.
- Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Manage data breach incidents and ensure timely reporting and resolution.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure data privacy controls and measures are integrated into technology solutions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in data Privacy or cybersecurity (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, Security+, CIPP, CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in data privacy or security roles, with a focus on data privacy tools like OneTrust Privacy Management, BigID, Osano or other security tools and technologies.
- A broad experience in managing projects and leading teams to success.
- Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations (e.g. GDPR).
- Strong hands-on experience on OneTrust platform is highly preferable.
- Experience in managing and implementing data privacy solutions in large corporate environments.
- A willingness to work as part of a diverse team.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning.
- A passion for technology and a drive to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.
