We are looking for a highly skilled Senior to support the Quality Monitoring team in assessing and enhancing the effectiveness of risk and control frameworks. This role involves leading independent quality reviews, monitoring adherence to regulatory and internal standards, and providing insights to strengthen governance and compliance.
- Conduct in-depth quality monitoring reviews across business processes, ensuring compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Support in second line of defence monitoring of risk controls effectiveness across the business, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, as well as recommend improvements to mitigate risks.
- Support the ‘in-flight’ monitoring of ongoing projects, ensuring timely risk identification and escalation, issue tracking, and support to the project teams.
- Supporting deep dive reviews to assess the effectiveness of project governance and oversight, identifying gaps, and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practice.
- Develop and enhance quality monitoring methodologies, ensuring alignment with best practices and global requirements.
- Prepare reports and dashboards with key findings, trends, and recommendations for senior management.
- Collaborate with first-line teams/Quality Champions in the business to drive improvements in risk management and control execution.
- Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a strong quality and risk culture.
- Ad hoc project support.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in Big4 environment ideally in a risk or quality function.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Understanding of Quality Management frameworks.
- Understanding of business and operational risk.
- Open to change.
- Process improvement.
- Data Analysis & Reporting.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs.
- Stakeholder management: ability collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Project management: Capability to oversee quality initiatives, ensuring timely execution.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
- Good grasp of technology and visualisation/dashboard reporting tools such as Power BI, Salesforce.
