Duties and Responsibilities
Payroll
- Prepare and process payroll within all ME geographies
- Work with HR to get compensation details / promotions
- Calculate and reconcile EOS / Housing / Schooling / Airfare / Bonus / Employee Expenses
- Reconcile Employee Expenses against MIFA invoices
- Prepare IPSA / ITSA file
- Raising NCP invoices related to seconded employees (with AR team)
- Consolidate all Geos in one tracker
- Providing Breakdown of HRSSC and IT spendings quarterly to Central
3rd Party Accounts Payables
- Processing AP invoices / Entries within all Geos
- Reconciliation with vendors SOA
- Reconciliation Payables Module vs. Trial Balance
- Review and approval of monthly payment list
- Maintain trackers for 3rd party accounts payables
General Accounting
- Monthly Closing:
- Reconciliation ME Intercompany accounts
- Accruals Accounts / Prepaid / Depreciation / Intercompany charges from Central
- Posting monthly bills rates
- Posting Accruals:
- General Partners / Cyprus / Bonus / NSE & DTT subscription / Income Tax & WHT as per plan
- Review and Reconcile:
- Other Income
- VAT in all ledger should be closed
- Subscription charges from HO and offset existing accruals
- Reporting -Review-:
- Review and match P&L consolidated vs. P&L by A&A
- Reconcile month on month P&L vs. OH
- Review TB, BS, P&L and Global Reports
- Reporting -Issue-:
- Budget summary for leads and COO
- System Update:
- 55 Rule update
- D365 enhancements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or other relevant degree
- Excellent English communication skills: verbal and written
- Excellent Arabic communication skills: verbal and written
- Based in Lebanon, Beirut.
- Experience with an International Company and preferably consulting firm
- Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience
- Extremely well organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- A self-starter that can work independently and can take charge of the role with minimal supervision
- A good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Microsoft office skills (MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel)
