Assistant Manager – Client Acceptance

During your tenure as Assistant Manager – Client Acceptance within Quality, Risk and Security team, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Follow established KYC/AML processes for new and existing clients in line with relevant Deloitte Global and local policies, undertake due diligence and raise any concerns to the quality risk representative/management.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills and consistently communicate with teams regarding compliance-related tasks
  • Engage with key stakeholders of the firm, e.g. Engagement teams and other Deloitte offices to build solid relationships, improve processes, share knowledge, and develop a compliance culture
  • Provide guidance and support to client onboarding team on day-to-day activities and ensure that cases are completed in timely manner
  • Develop and manage strong working relationship across business lines and supporting functions
  • Monitor weekly reports and interact / help client onboarding team members to achieve KPIs
  • and contribute to training and development of the team
  • Perform duties or responsibilities assigned by the line manager or department head
  • Help create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment

Required Skills and Qualification

  • Undergraduate degree from a reputable University in Business Administration or related fields
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the same industry
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels across the firm.
  • The ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
  • Resilience and an ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines.
  • A constructive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to exercise sound professional judgement
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to finishing tasks to the highest standards
