Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability | Experienced Associate / Senior

During your tenure as an Experienced Associate / Senior in the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CR&S) team, within the broader People and Purpose team, you will demonstrate your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Work closely with the CR&S team to design and implement strategies that are in line with Deloitte Middle East’s CR&S goals and objectives.
  • Participate in meetings with Global and regional teams, in addition to other member firms to understand global strategies, recent developments, tools and technologies to be launched and support the preparation of Deloitte Middle East programs for such changes.
  • Support the development of new innovative corporate responsibility and social impact initiatives in line with Deloitte’s overarching CR&S strategy.
  • Engage various internal stakeholders in understanding and advancing Deloitte’s CR&S strategy.
  • Support in coordinating and fostering partnerships both internally and externally to advance social impact initiatives and programs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage employees at all levels in corporate responsibility and social impact initiatives, promoting a culture of cooperation and volunteering within the organization.
  • Manage the review, quality control, and analysis of social impact data for reporting purposes.
  • Manage the Deloitte Middle East volunteering initiatives and platforms   
  • Develop and execute internal CR&S communication plans aimed at enhancing social impact awareness and engagement.
  • Create compelling social media content to support external CR&S communication efforts.
  • Develop news content for internal newsletters and other internal communication channels.
  • Craft narratives that showcase the organization's sustainable / social commitments and impact.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify opportunities for improvements by scaling and amplifying impact.
  • Prepare high-end reports, presentations, and documentation, maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the review and drafting of internal CR&S related policies.
  • Contribute to the review and testing of CR&S related tools, platforms, and learning materials.
  • Provide recommendations for the adoption of new tools and technologies that enhance CR&S practices.
  • Conduct research on various CR&S projects and provide ad-hoc reports in line with the business needs.

Qualifications:  

  • 3-4 years of work experience, preferably in a multinational firm.
  • Masters degree (preferable) in Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Science, Public Policy, Communication, Sustainability, Business Management or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Social Science, Public Policy, Communication, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to a non-technical audience through written and oral communication.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills; with an ear for authentic, persuasive language, strong listening skills, and quick understanding of audience and content.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with partners and high-level executives.
  • Detail oriented and conscientious.
  • Demonstrated strong commitment to personal learning and development.
  • Proficient copy-writing style and proof-reading ability.
  • Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Management).
  • Perfect command of Arabic and English.
