Finance Manager – Central Finance Team – Tax & Legal Business Line

Job Overview

Deloitte is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing diverse financial operations, including practical application of IFRS especially 15, 9 and 17, financial planning and analysis, and team leadership. This role encompasses overseeing the financial operations for 8 service lines.

Key Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Month-end & Year-end Closing: Manage and oversee the entire process ensuring timely and accurate financial statements including consolidation of financial results at Middle East level.
  • Management reporting and liaising with internal & external stake holders.
  • Budgeting: Develop, implement, and manage the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Budget vs actual financial results tracking.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to Head Office and Partners.
  • Accounts Receivable: Oversee recording and management ensuring timely collection.
  • Accounts Payables: Manage payments to MF and vendors, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll processing for all service lines.
  • Coordination with Banks: Handle all banking relationships and transactions efficiently.
  • External Audit Facilitation: Coordinate and facilitate annual external audits from planning to conclusion and getting it approved from the Board of directors/shareholders.
  • Cash and working capital management: Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed also should be able to keep track of working capital.
  • Adhoc Reporting and Analysis: Provide ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Preference will be given to candidates with relevant qualifications.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in D365.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.

  • Any prior experience of handling external audits or having external audit background will be a plus.
