During your tenure as a Manager in Deloitte, your duties will involve commercial advisory tasks including:
  • Sell, lead and deliver complex engagements that help our clients unlock value through inorganic growth and value creation, especially around business plan development, feasibility studies, market entry strategy, in and commercial due diligence
  • Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader
  • Collaborate with other Deloitte service lines to provide multi-disciplinary solutions to clients, leveraging our global network of experts.
  • Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
  • Set and lead engagement objectives by defining the scope, plan and budget; mobilize and manage multiple engagement teams / workstreams; define deliverable structure and content; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.
  • Communicate with senior management regarding work stream progress and recommendations/decisions.
  • Mentor and develop staff through informal coaching and day-to-day project interactions.
  • Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 years of proven track record of providing a broad continuum of advisory services to support mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, and partnerships including developing inorganic growth strategy, target scans, and commercial due diligence
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders in a matrix and multi-cultural organization.
  • Both English and Arabic fluency is mandatory
  • Good and confident communicator who can interact with senior leadership
  • Experience with staff development and eagerness to mentor junior practitioners.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and work under pressure with a flexible approach.
  • A structured, methodical thinker, with strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Able to establish rapport / relationships quickly
  • Able to negotiate with and positively influence people at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • An advanced degree (MBA; PhD; JD; MD; Masters) is preferred.
