As a senior leader at our client sides, you will drive high-impact SAM initiatives that enhance governance, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with software licensing requirements. You will

Lead large-scale SAM transformation programs by designing and implementing comprehensive SAM strategies aligned with business objectives.

·       Advise C-level executives and IT leaders on software asset governance, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.

·       Oversee complex software licensing assessments across multiple vendors, including Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, and Adobe.

·       Develop and implement enterprise-wide SAM frameworks, ensuring integration with broader IT asset management (ITAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) strategies.

·       Drive software cost optimization initiatives by identifying opportunities for contract renegotiation, software consolidation, and license reallocation.

·       Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations, helping clients secure favourable terms with software providers.

·       Ensure audit readiness and compliance by leading software license reviews and advising on risk mitigation strategies.

·       Develop and deliver thought leadership on SAM best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes.

·       Lead and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance culture within the SAM advisory practice.

·       Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, and expanding client relationships.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.

·       8+ years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT asset management, or software licensing, with a focus on advisory and consulting.

·       Strong leadership experience, including managing teams and engaging with executive stakeholders.

·       Deep expertise in major licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe, etc.) and SAM tools (Flexera, ServiceNow SAM, Snow Software).

·       Proven track record in driving cost optimization, compliance, and contract negotiations.

·       Fluency in English, with strong communication and presentation skills to engage senior stakeholders.

·       Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CSAM, Microsoft Licensing Specialist) are a plus.
