Overview:

As an Integration Architect within Deloitte’s Technology and Transformation Engineering practice, you will lead the design, delivery, and governance of enterprise integration solutions that enable seamless connectivity across complex IT landscapes. You will act as a technical leader and trusted advisor, supporting clients across industries in defining integration strategies, establishing governance frameworks, and delivering scalable, secure, and reusable integration architectures. You will manage teams, drive innovation in integration factories, and ensure alignment with business and IT strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead the design and documentation of integration blueprints and target-state architectures for core business systems (CRM, ERP, payment systems, utilities, etc.).

·        Define and implement API-led architectures, event-driven integration patterns, and reusable composable building blocks.

·        Establish integration governance, standards, and best practices including security, logging, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.

·        Support clients in setting up integration factories and operating models, including nearshore/offshore delivery teams.

·        Conduct integration landscape assessments and develop roadmaps to simplify and modernize IT ecosystems.

·        Oversee end-to-end delivery of integration projects, from high-level design to production deployment, ensuring quality and adherence to governance.

·        Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and solution workshops with clients and internal teams.

·        Manage and mentor integration engineers and consultants, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.

·        Drive automation and optimization of integration workflows and deployment processes.

·        Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on integration and enterprise architecture topics.

·        Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable integration solutions.

·        Support pre-sales activities including solution proposals, client presentations, and demonstrations.

·        Contribute to the development and enhancement of Deloitte’s integration capabilities and alliances (e.g., IBM, MuleSoft, etc.).

·        Support training and upskilling of junior resources across onshore and nearshore teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·        Master’s degree in engineering, Business Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

·        8+ years of progressive experience in integration architecture, solution delivery, and technical leadership roles.

·        Proven track record delivering integration solutions in complex, mission-critical environments across multiple industries (Public Sector, Financial Services, Oil & gas).

·        Hands-on expertise with integration platforms such as MuleSoft Anypoint, Boomi, Solace, WebMethods, and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).

·        Strong knowledge of API management, event-driven architectures, IAM, data pipelines, and integration governance.

·        Experience leading integration factories and managing distributed teams including nearshore/offshore resources.

·        Skilled in defining integration roadmaps, operating models, and governance frameworks.

·        Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices in integration delivery.

·        Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex projects.

·        Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

·        Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        MuleSoft/IBM/Boomi Certified Integration Architect

·        Familiarity in AI Integration

·        TOGAF Certified

·        Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)

·        Relevant API/security certifications.
