Overview:

As a DevOps Architect within Deloitte’s Technology and Transformation Engineering practice, you will lead the design, implementation, and governance of DevOps strategies and frameworks that enable continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure automation. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive DevOps adoption, optimize delivery pipelines, and ensure scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Define and lead DevOps strategies, frameworks, and best practices aligned with business and technology goals.

·        Architect scalable, automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.

·        Establish standards for configuration management, release automation, monitoring, and security in DevOps processes.

·        Evaluate and recommend DevOps tools and technologies to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.

·        Oversee the design, build, and deployment of automated pipelines and infrastructure provisioning.

·        Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment workflows.

·        Lead efforts to monitor system health, performance, and security post-deployment.

·        Manage risk, compliance, and governance related to DevOps practices.

·        Lead and mentor DevOps engineers and consultants, fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement.

·        Manage project planning, resource allocation, and delivery milestones for DevOps initiatives.

·        Facilitate technical governance, design reviews, and stakeholder communication.

·        Act as a trusted advisor to clients on DevOps transformation and cloud-native adoption.

·        Conduct workshops, technical sessions, and presentations to align stakeholders on DevOps strategies.

·        Support pre-sales activities including solution proposals and demonstrations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

·        8+ years in enterprise technology roles with significant experience in DevOps architecture and delivery, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.

·        Deep expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible), and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker).

·        Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies.

·        Experience with monitoring, logging, and security tools in DevOps environments.

·        Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex projects.

·        Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Dynatrace and AppDynamics).

·        Familiarity in the role of AI in DevOps (CI/CD, Testing Automation, AI-Assisted Code Suggestions, etc.)

·        Knowledge of observability, monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).

·        Experience with security best practices in DevOps.

·        Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar.
