Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer within Deloitte’s Technology and Transformation Engineering practice, you will implement and support automated CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring solutions. Working closely with development, operations, and security teams, you will help accelerate software delivery, improve system reliability, and enable scalable infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

·        Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools to provision and manage cloud and on-premises resources.

·        Support containerization and orchestration using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

·        Monitor application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement remediation.

·        Automate manual processes to improve deployment speed and reliability.

·        Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security and compliance into DevOps workflows.

·        Maintain documentation of DevOps processes, configurations, and operational procedures.

·        Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment of software releases.

·        Participate in knowledge sharing, training, and continuous learning initiatives.

·        Support incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

·        3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering or related roles.

·        Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.

·        Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

·        Confidence in containerization (e.g. Docker) and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).

·        Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud).

·        Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

·        Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Dynatrace and AppDynamics).

·        Knowledge of observability, monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).

·        Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps.
