Responsibilities
To provide technical support in delivering health and safety-related client engagements, as well as responding to client proposals and bids, as necessary. This role may also involve the following tasks:
· Assist in conducting comprehensive risk assessments and safety audits at client sites within the Middle East.
· Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and documentation.
· Prepare detailed health and safety reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
· Deliver health and safety training sessions to client employees as required for the engagement.
· Review and assess clients' compliance with local health and safety regulations and standards.
· Provide general support to the health and safety team in various client engagements.
· Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
· Monitor and review health and safety performance metrics and suggest improvements.
· Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss health and safety issues, solutions, and legislative requirements.
· Stay updated with the latest health and safety regulations, best practices, and industry trends.
· Collaborate with clients to develop customized health and safety solutions tailored to their specific needs.
· Maintain accurate and organized records of all health and safety activities and documentation.
Qualifications
· NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health or Safety / bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Engineering, or a related field
· Total Experience - 1-3 years
· Experience in health and safety or engineering-based roles, preferably within a consulting, construction, industry, or client-facing environment.
· Technical skillset - Knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessment, incident investigation, report writing, and safety training.
· Industry focus - Construction, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, or similar industries with significant health and safety requirements.
· Ability to communicate and write documents in both English and Arabic.
· The interested applicants must be based in Jordan.
