During your tenure as a Manager – Corporate Tax, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Provide support / advise the business lines on different transactions from a Corporate Tax perspective
  • Proactively identify the risk / exposure during the review of business transactions
  • Provide strategies to minimise tax exposure
  • Review the Corporate Tax filings across the Middle East before submission with the Tax Authorities
  • Undertake regular review of transactions to ensure compliance and readiness for potential Audits in the future
  • Assist in identifying impact of withholding taxes during cross-border transactions and the documentation to be maintained from compliance stand-point
  • Create tax awareness within different finance teams
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the knowledge of the finance teams
  • Provide advise to the Management on the tax implications at the time of new business initiatives, restructuring of business model, etc
  • Monitor the tax developments / changes and advise the finance teams regarding it’s impact
  • Provide support during IT implementation projects from a Tax compliance and governance perspective
  • Analyse the impact of BEPS Pillar 2 regulations and assist during the implementation
  • Provide advise to business finance teams relating to tax provisioning, tax accounting and deferred taxes
  • Assist in collating and preparing information for transfer pricing filings and documentation
  • Assist in preparing / reviewing information during an Audit / Assessment from the Tax Authorities
  • Maintain compliance tracker and monitor on a regular basis
  • Prepare a tax process review document which needs to be implemented and followed by all entities
  • Assist Tax Director in implementing the Tax Governance Framework

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other equivalent degree
  • 6-7 years’ experience in the Corporate Tax in Middle east region preferably in-house Tax function.
  • Working experience relating to Corporate Tax Laws in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and a basic knowledge relating to Corporate Tax for other Middle East countries.
  • Highly motivated with a desire to work hard and exceed objectives/expectations
  • Keen attention to detail and is adaptable, flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to develop, coach and motivate junior members of the team
  • Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, and regulations
