During your tenure as a Finance Associate in Audit & Assurance, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
- Process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and entering accounts information
- Update financial data in accounting system to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Prepare and maintain the accounting records and statements.
- Analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly and annual accounts
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted accounting standards and Firm’s policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
- Monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities in the accounts
- Develop and maintain financial data bases, financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
- Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of accounts
- Analyze and advise on business operations including financial trends and future commitments

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of practical hands-on experience.
- Well versed with GCC/Egypt labor laws.
- Fluent in English
- Pleasant, approachable, and professional conduct.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to analyze data with high attention to detail.
- Actively manage expectations and escalate matters where necessary.
- Exceptional attitude, self-starter, team player and process oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Advanced knowledge in excel is a must, knowledge of Microsoft D365 is a plus.
- Exhibit flexibility to adapt to multiple cultures / sectors and display agility and diversity.
