During your tenure as an Experienced Associate you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
- Support CM Lead with diarizing, planning and meeting requests.
- Liaison and key point of contact Contentious Matters Team and the business as required.
- Act as a liaison between the Contentious Matters Leader and external counsel as required.
- Assist with monthly reporting obligations.
- Maintain a detailed and updated database of all contentious matters.
- Prepare relevant internal reports by extracting necessary information from the database.
- Maintain case files on SharePoint, ensuring all files are properly organized and up to date.
- Diarize deadlines and important dates.
- Manage emails and cases.
- Assist in streamlining processes, including drawing up forms and templates for internal circulation.
- Create PowerPoint presentations and run case statistics.
- Analyze facts, gather evidence, and prepare legal memorandums.
- Assist the Contentious Matters Team in preparing internal training sessions on issues surrounding contentious matters, including risk mitigation.
- Monitor legal developments across the Middle East and Cyprus and report back to the Contentious Matters Team.
- Work with the Contentious Matters Leader on developing and enhancing policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with laws and regulations across multiple Middle East jurisdictions.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Keenness to learn about different stakeholder sectors.
