Our Purpose

The Quality, Risk, Security (QRS) Department of Deloitte Middle East is seeking to recruit a Quality Risk Management Team and Business Risk Administrator, at the level of Associate, based in our Amman office.

The Quality Risk Management Team and Business Risk Administrator Role

The role requires liaising with practitioners across the business units and jurisdictions to assist with the Financial Advisory risk policies and procedures as well as supporting on compliance with regulatory and risk management tasks and reporting and support on ad-hoc projects. Occasional travel may also be required for this role.

The successful candidate’s key responsibilities include, among other:

Day to Day

Your daily role will involve understanding and applying our Quality and Risk Management (QRM) policies and procedures to:

  • Be responsible for and maintain the calendar of QRM and regulatory submissions.
  • Support the Business Units and legal team by maintaining commercial licenses, support with renewing commercial license, etc.
  • Provide administrative support in relation to new legal entity set up. 
  • Support the legal team with updates to templates.
  • Support the legal team with updates to legal trackers and support with legal research.
  • Support the legal team to manage the team mailbox and monitor the drafting of internal legal guidance.
  • Be the data champion from QRM in relation to data governance across the Financial Advisory Business.

Training Support

  • Support the QRM Team as a training coordinator (monthly trainings, ad-hoc trainings) and support the QRM Experienced Manager to monitor the QRM training plan for each year.
  • Support the QRM Team with training administrative risk management tasks (including scheduling trainings, updating invites, updating training deck, attendance tracking).

Risk Management

  • Support the QRM Team on External & Internal Audit information requests.
  • Support the QRM Team on Regulatory requests.
  • Support on document retention process management across all Deloitte Middle East Financial Advisory jurisdictions.
  • Support on document destruction process and monitoring (hard copies and electronic documentation) across all Deloitte Middle East Financial Advisory jurisdictions.
  • Support the QRM Experienced Manager to coordinate Risk Papers as part of promotions.

Projects

  • Support the QRM Experienced Manager with archival of legacy project folders on collaboration platforms.
  • Ad-hoc project work on QRM initiatives (QRM team projects as well as Deloitte Middle East wide projects).

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience in the financial services, with an understanding of financial, regulatory, compliance and risk matters.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written. Knowledge of the Arabic language will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bi, Tableau.
  • Analytical skills and ability to conduct basic data analysis to draw conclusions.
  • Ability to adapt new/refreshed ways of working and different perspectives to take actions based on guidance and support from the team.
