Ready to launch your career at the intersection of manufacturing and advanced technology? Deloitte is seeking a Junior Graduate to join our Supply Chain "Manufacturing Enablement" practice in Cairo. This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious graduates to engage in tech-enabled projects focused on manufacturing applications and technologies that enhance the performance of manufacturing operations.

You will play a vital role in supporting projects that implement and optimize manufacturing enablement solutions across diverse industries such as pharmaceuticals, energy, resources, and industrial products. Your work will involve understanding and designing technical interfaces between systems and machinery, translating business processes into detailed technical specifications, and contributing to the setup of concrete system interfaces.

You'll collaborate with a dynamic team of experienced engineers and technical specialists, learning to analyze manufacturing processes, identify key parameters and fields relevant to manufacturing operations, and design smart, cloud-enabled solutions. This hands-on role means working directly with clients to bridge the gap between manufacturing operations and technology, driving operational excellence and innovation.

• A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering,  Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline).
• 0 – 3 years of professional experience in a technical or techno-functional role, ideally within manufacturing, system integration, or consulting.
• A demonstrated strong interest in manufacturing technologies and applications, ideally with relevant coursework, projects, or internships.
• An eagerness to learn about manufacturing processes, backend systems, interfacing, and cloud technologies in an operational context.
• Passion for the latest technology trends and developments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical ideas clearly.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong technical foundation in full stack development, including back-end and system interfacing.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.

Technical requirements

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to system interfacing concepts, including designing interfaces between manufacturing systems and machinery.
• Ability to translate business processes into technical specifications, including identifying relevant data fields and parameters for interfacing.
• Understanding of cloud integration technologies and cloud-based interfaces, including experience with custom builds and deployments on AWS.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and the ability to identify critical data points in manufacturing operations.
• Experience with data analysis and programming tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R, genAI) from academic projects.
• Basic understanding of data management and information technology principles.

Back-end requirements:

• Expertise in Core Java (Java 8+, ideally Java 11/17) and applying advanced OOP principles, design patterns, and data structures to solve complex problems.
• Mastery of Spring ecosystem: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, etc.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging architectures (AWS SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Expertise in PostgreSQL database administration concepts, performance tuning, and specific experience with AWS cloud-native databases like Amazon Aurora.
• Strong background in AWS services and cloud architecture best practices.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration concepts (Kubernetes).
• Working experience with Git
• Use of AI technologies like Github copilot

Front-end requirements:

• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Expertise in Angular 19
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (Less)
• Experience with consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
• Working experience with Git
• Use of AI technologies like Github copilot
• Unit testing using Jasmine + karma

Other:

·       Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams).
