We are looking for a Business Analyst with 3 or 4 years experience in small to large business transformation, firm knowledge of programming methodologies and basic architectural principles, you’ll be an integral part in the technical design of new software and processes. You should be able to take requirements from a range of client stakeholders and evaluate the technical feasibility, complexity, and impact of the solutions you produce.

• Take the lead on running workshops to gather requirements to help solve some of the most exciting problems from our clients.

• Translate business requirements into Customer journeys, user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Support business and technology assessments

• Work with developers and testers to clarify requirements and support delivery activity.

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, including test case development, test execution, and issue resolution.

• Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution.

• Responsible for gathering, designing, and documenting functional & non-functional requirements.

• Conduct gap analysis on processes, identify and assess areas of improvement and document.

• Coordinate meetings, workshops, drive decisions and obtain sign off from key stakeholders. Streamline processes and key decision to stakeholder.

• Support the value stream leads with defining scope and evaluate business, systems and operational needs to achieve overall business strategies. Support the BDA governance and design decisions.

• Collaborate with the engineers and input towards the solution architectural design.

• Produce key deliverables such as Business requirement document and design, Process Modelling Documentation (e.g., Blueprint, End to end process map) and BDA Presentation slides (subject to value stream demand)

• Good understanding of payments, debit & credit cards and onboarding infrastructure and capabilities. E.g., payment schemes, current accounts, savings etc.

What you must have:

• 3 or 4 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Analyst Manager either at a consultancy or working within industry.

• Experience of working in Financial Services or with Financial Services clients

• Great at delving into the details, as well as being able to think about the bigger picture and confidently discuss creative ideas, tech and user experience, as conversion rates

• Understanding of digital transformation and are capable of conveying key concepts and principles to your team and clients at multiple levels of seniority.

• Ability to lead as you will be responsible for facilitating workshops and eliciting business requirements to help solve our clients’ problems.

• Organized and passionate about building and delivering customer-centric propositions.

• Knowledge of the Agile delivery methodologies such as scrum and Kanban

• Experience working in software delivery program within a multi-skilled team.

• Experience with monolithic, layered and microservice architectures.

• Experience of design and implementation of market-leading solutions and packages in: Web (online banking and public websites); Mobile banking, both native (iOS and Android) and hybrid; Vendor digital experience platforms

• Experience with process mapping and managing stakeholder’s expectations.

• Proficient understanding of testing methodologies and techniques, with the capability to lead User Acceptance Test (UAT) sessions and gather client feedback

• Strong knowledge of Payments, Debit & Credit cards & Onboarding including login and mobile settings.

• Ability to analyse and interpret large data sets to provide insights, communicate findings and recommendations.

• Tech savvy, being able to define technical elements of a system in user stories/acceptance criteria when needed, as well as being able to explain technical concepts to non-techie clients.

• Requirements gathering & analysis.

• Problem solving & critical thinking.

Desirable:

• Retail banking experience

• Certified in Business Analyst qualification or Agile course.
