Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant specialising in Procurement Technology to join our team. In this role, you will work with clients across a variety of industries (Public Sector, Healthcare, Financial Services, Technology etc.) to optimise their procurement processes through the design and implementation of leading-edge digital solutions. You will leverage your expertise in procurement technology to lead design thinking workshops, translate business requirements into intuitive user interfaces, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of consultants, architects, and client stakeholders. As a Senior Consultant, you will be a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding them through the digital transformation of their procurement function and delivering solutions that drive tangible business value.

• Primarily focusing on client-facing projects leading and managing a project team providing strategy and operations consulting to major clients, with a specific focus on sourcing and procurement technology
• Being a part of a team that delivers the strategy, design, implementation, and deployment of procurement technology solutions, in particular SAP Ariba, Coupa and Ivalua
• Playing a key role on projects working directly with clients to deliver their objectives and solve complex problems; leading and managing a workstream within a project and owning the creation of high-quality deliverables; analysing and interpreting data; delivering engaging and interactive workshops; and gaining commitment from key stakeholders
• Delivering activities on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard of quality, tailored to fulfil client expectations
• Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
• Delivering multiple pieces of work in parallel, both client facing and internal
• Actively participating in and contributing to the success of the practice
• Proactively driving your own development through access to on the job coaching and an array of training options
• Supporting development of the Deloitte business, brand, and reputation

• Someone who can listen attentively and solve client issues
• Someone who can engage with varying audiences both verbally and in writing.
• Someone with excellent interpersonal skills who can create, build, and sustain internal and external relationships, with the ability to lead diverse teams

• 7+ Years of relevant experience.
• Have relevant practical experience in some of the following areas of Sourcing and Procurement: digital procurement, procurement transformation, strategic sourcing and cost reduction, supplier innovation and performance improvement
• Experience in procurement technology applications, preferably SAP Ariba or Coupa though experience in Oracle, GEP, Jaggaer, Ivalua, Icertis and/or other procurement technology is welcome where the experience is rich
• Have the ability to lead and manage a small team or workstream within a project and to delegate tasks effectively and quality assure outputs.
• An understanding of risk, how to mitigate risk and protect the firm's reputation.
• Enthusiasm and passion for the delivery of market leading solutions that make a difference

Desirable:

• Advanced analytical capabilities and experience in supply chain modelling, visualisation, and simulation tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView)
• Sector specific experience or previous consulting experience
• Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or similar professional qualification or equivalent
• Be able to analyse complex datasets and distil key insights
• Demonstrate excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, data manipulation and visualisation, PowerPoint and report writing skills
• Experienced in effective project management.
• Experience with Generative AI or Agentic AI technology and frameworks.
• Experience with systems integrations and middleware technology.

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints.
