This role is for a skilled and adaptable full-stack developer to join a fast-paced development effort to re-architect and modernize digital platforms. As a core member of our development team, you will design, develop, and modify custom software solutions that solve problems, improve business operations, and manage the complexity inherent in technology change.
- Design, develop and modify software systems and custom components using a modern dev stack.
- Develop software solutions by analysing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyse systems flow, data usage, and work processes; and investigate problem areas.
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems.
- Develop and execute test procedures for software components.
- Analyse user requirements to derive technical software design and performance requirements.
- Lead SQL development, owns the repo(s), approves merge requests, accountable for the quality.

- Experience in software development using Python and Django.
- Experience in building APIs.
- Extensive experience in designing and building responsive user Interface (UI) applications using HTML5, AJAX, CSS & JavaScript, Bootstrap, React, Angular, jQuery.
- Experience in developing stored procedures, functions, Views and Triggers, and Complex queries using DB (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience working with XML/JSON
- Experience using GitLab source code management
- Experience working with Agile Development Methodology
- Experience deploying software/database using CI / CD pipeline leveraging tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc
- Demonstrate high organisational skills and a methodical approach to problem solving
- Demonstrate the ability to think creatively and innovatively with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Demonstrate strong communication including spanning technical and business language barriers and be able to run feature kick-off sessions and apply story mapping techniques
- Demonstrable experience in using tools (JIRA / confluence / Excel) to manage designs, prototypes, and user stories
- Using microservices is a plus.
Required:
- Bsc. In Computer Science or relevant education background.
- 6+ years of experience
