We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and talented Copywriter to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Beirut, this role will support Deloitte Middle East centrally. The candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling, clear, and engaging written copy across a variety of channels, to support marketing campaigns, thought leadership, and brand communications, all while ensuring alignment with Deloitte’s brand voice and business objectives. This role requires a creative mindset, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to adapt tone and style for diverse audiences, in both English and Arabic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality written content for a range of marketing materials, including but not limited to, thought leadership, digital campaigns, presentations, and email content. 
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and subject-matter experts to ensure messaging is consistent and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammatical correctness, and adherence to Deloitte’s tone of voice and style standards.
  • Create bilingual content (English and Arabic), ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy.
  • Incorporate SEO best practices to optimise digital content where applicable.
  • Support the development of scripts and storyboards for video and multimedia content.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to understand communication needs and translate them into effective copy.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging communication tools to continuously enhance content quality and effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum of 3-4 years) as a copywriter, preferably in a marketing or communications environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both Arabic and English, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and communication channels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels (including social media) and SEO principles.
