Deloitte ME Consulting is currently in search of a skilled Functional Business Analyst, to join our esteemed Technology Consulting team. We are looking for an IT professional with the capacity to spearhead functional tasks for significant digital transformation initiatives of both large and multiple medium scales. This individual should excel in collaborating within a team of experienced professionals in Business Analysis, Test & Validation, demonstrating leadership capabilities. As a member of the core project team, the chosen candidate will collaborate directly with technology and business managers.

Key roles and responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for functional activities, including user story writing, customer journey mapping, test case creation and execution, reporting, and stakeholder management and discussions. Additionally, demonstrate familiarity with testing tools and technologies, exhibit a passion for innovation, and contribute ideas for incorporating upcoming technologies into projects.

  • Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications, including use cases, user stories, workflows, and system design documents
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure that solutions are designed and implemented according to business needs and agreed functional requirements
  • Participate in solution design sessions, providing insights and recommendations to ensure the proposed solutions align with business needs
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements validation, testing, and deployment
  • Conduct impact analysis to assess the implications of proposed changes on existing systems, processes, and data
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, including test case development, test execution, and issue resolution
  • Participating in conducting tests according to schedule to support project timelines.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to development teams and clients regarding business and technical issues, promptly resolving any reported incident
  • Collaborate extensively across the organization, keep abreast of industry trends, and contribute to process improvement efforts. Additionally, mentor and lead team members, both onshore and offshore, while providing expertise to less experienced colleagues.


  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science or any related major.
  • 6-10 years of experience in Business Analysis/Functional Analyst with a focus on gathering requirements and designing solutions.
  • Proficiency in financial services and regulations, including payment cards, lending, KYC, and AML is required.
  • Understand project requirements, use cases, and specification for features
  • Excellent experience in preparing business requirements document (BRS, SRS, BRD, and others)

·       Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments

  • Proficient understanding of testing methodologies and techniques, with the capability to lead User Acceptance Test (UAT) sessions and gather client feedback
  • Robust design capabilities encompassing the ability to conceptualize and develop user interfaces, wireframes, and prototypes that align with business requirements and user needs
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into functional specifications
  • Familiarity with design thinking methodologies, enabling the application of human-centered approaches to problem-solving, ideation, and innovation processes.
  • 3-5 years of experience with supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact effectively across all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.

·       PMI-CBAP or PSPOI certification is a plus.
