Central Risk | AML Quality Assurance | Assistant Manager – UAE

The successful candidate’s key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Performing Testing and Monitoring of effectiveness and process systems relating to AML/CTF matters, working under the Guidance of the team managers, and in line with Deloitte Technology
  • Reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
  • Participating in compliance, regulatory and other related matters
  • Assisting in monitoring activities of the jurisdictions within the Middle East Firm
  • Perform ongoing monitoring and review of the clients’ AML risk assessment
  • Implementation of Laws and Regulations as it relates to client acceptance and report any updates across all 15 jurisdictions of the Deloitte Middle East

Requirements

  • Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree from a reputable University in any field
  • Experience in external audit/internal audit/controls testing for at least 4+ years
  • ACAMS or ICA Qualification will also be considered an advantage
  • Possession of, or currently pursuing a professional qualification (e.g., CIA, ACA, ACCA, CFA) will be considered as an advantage
  • Experience in AML/Financial crime would be considered an advantage
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve results
