During your tenure as a SGO Assistant Manager, you will support SGO Leaders and report to both the Middle East Growth Director and Middle East Strategy & Corporate Development Director. Your role is cross-Business Line and will require interactions with senior stakeholders across the firm. You will be mostly focused on planning, performance reporting and business development initiatives related to our Strategic Growth platforms. In addition, you will be working with the Middle East Strategy & Corporate Development Director on firm-wide strategic initiatives. You will demonstrate your capabilities in the following areas:

Driving SGO as a program:
  • Bring your ideas and drive to refresh, implement and mature SGO strategies and initiatives
  • Monitor the implementation of multiple projects within the SGO program across businesses
  • Scope and facilitate cross-Business Line workshops and calls to increase collaboration
  • Source relevant support across the organization including marketing, communications, events, knowledge management etc.
  • Ensure and monitor integration of SGO into Key Accounts growth plan development
  • Monitor, analyze and report SGO performance and forecasts to the leadership team
  • Develop and manage the SGO budget and ensure appropriate reporting and flagging of discrepancies
  • Enhance the SGO awareness/learning program and monitor the delivery
  • Develop and monitor the delivery of the annual SGO marketing plan with the Brand team
  • Identify, support, and monitor external eminence activities and thought leadership publications, conferences/sponsorships, speaking opportunities
  • Connect regional SGO leaders with NSE/global solutions/storefront; seek out opportunities to differentiate SGO services through innovation and impact
  • Work with the Strategy and Corporate Development Director to deliver strategic projects that support the execution of DME Ambition 28
  • Prepare evidence-based analysis to support findings and inform the direction of initiatives
  • Analyse financial data to develop insight and positions to inform the DME CEO
  • Prepare slides to present A28 and strategy initiatives to various internal forums and cascade strategy into action
  • Support the development of the DME scorecard
  • Track potential Corp dev deals that require consideration, and record their outcomes
  • Develop Business cases to attract global funding for team lifts and acquisitions
  • Insights gathering and review of potential targets
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality in data and thinking through effective knowledge management
  • Supports other initiatives that arise at short notice and are time-sensitive

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor/Master degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or any other related business studies
  • English language fluency required; Arabic is a plus
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial and data analysis
  • Proficiency (advanced) with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate professionally with partners and high-level executives
  • Able to work effectively with stakeholders in a matrix and multi-cultural organization
  • Proactive and results-oriented team player with demonstrated ability to work under pressure
  • Possess strong project management and time management skills.
